Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your Demotivator account and what happens when you do.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. The following data will be removed:
- Your email address and account credentials
- Your linked Google Spreadsheet URL
- All learning progress, XP, levels, and streaks
- Quiz history and accuracy data
- Any community spreadsheet submissions
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Email request
- Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- We will verify your identity and delete your account within 48 hours.
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
After Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You will no longer be able to log in with your email address.
- Your saved session data in the browser will stop working.
- Your Google Spreadsheet is not affected - we never modify your spreadsheet.
- You are free to create a new account with the same email address in the future.
