- To send verification codes for account registration and password resets.
- To fetch vocabulary words from your linked Google Spreadsheet.
- To track and display your learning progress.

5. Third-Party Services

- Google Sheets - to read vocabulary data from your linked spreadsheet. We only read publicly shared spreadsheet data.
- OpenAI API - to generate quiz questions and evaluate your sentence responses. Your vocabulary words and sentences are sent to OpenAI for processing.
- Email (SMTP) - to send verification codes to your email address.
6. Data Retention
